The Happiest Day of Our Lives
Exhilaration. Exasperation. Elation. Exhaustion. These are just some of the feelings and emotions during our wedding day and the days leading up to it as we planned a wedding for 400 plus guests and hosted over 40 out of town relatives—and just to make it more interesting, the paint was barely dry as we moved into our first home together just weeks before. There were times throughout this process where we felt that the world was conspiring against us and that everything that could go wrong did. At times we bickered at each other like never before. We sometimes lost focus on the little things that in the end never mattered. We planned for the worst, and only hoped for the best.
But in the end, with the support of our loving family and friends everything came together beautifully. It was indeed the happiest day of our lives. We couldn’t have done it without them and will be forever thankful.
Also many thanks to all our guest bloggers the last month: The Culinary Chronicles, Kirbie’s Cravings, Triple Scoop Desserts, Happyolks, and Kitchen Runway. The honeymoon won’t be until October so we have some time unwind and get back into the kitchen and cook again. We’ll post the official photos as soon as we get them, but in the meantime, enjoy our same day edit of our wedding day by the great crew at Video Keepsakes. Video Keepsakes, has generously offered a $100 gift certificate if we get the most comments on their blog so check it out and leave a comment under our video to help us win!
ps. there’s a funny blooper on the video–kudos to the eagle eye that can catch it!
